INTRODUCTION

The very real Purple Heart Parachutist is an authentic twice combat-wounded Vietnam War Veteran of the elite special forces trained U.S. Army Airborne Ranger Paratroopers 1968-72.

Airborne Long Range Reconnaissance Patroller, Dallas G. Wittgenfeld was decorated for valor in combat, awarded the combat infantry badge, and air medal also.  Returning to America, became a basic combat training drill sergeant while continuing sport and military parachuting activities.

After 55 years parachuting experience, the septuagenarian is an avid aviator, skydiver, balloonist and performs at air shows.
